Suzanna Markstein, NP Claimed

Suzanna Markstein, MS, RN, ANP-BC, WHNP-BC, has over ten years experience as an adult and women’s health nurse practitioner specializing in a functional approach to wellness. She discovered functional medicine during her own health crisis after several traditional medical practices were unable to figure out what was causing her symptoms. Once her eyes were opened to this new paradigm of health care, she began training at the Institute for Functional Medicine, so that she could become the provider she had been looking for herself.

​Suzanna did her nursing and nurse practitioner training at Columbia University. She has degrees and certifications in Adult and Women’s Health. She has full prescriptive authority in New York State. Her functional medicine training was done at the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has done additional training in women’s hormone management at the Institute of Women’s Health & Integrative Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

​For clients who are available to meet with her in person in NYC, Suzanna is available for consultations including medication management.

​For clients outside of New York, Suzanna offers nutrition and lifestyle consultations to clients via Skype and phone sessions. Distance consultation cannot include diagnosis or treatment of any health conditions. However, you will be surprised at how much we are able to do to support your health through nutrition and lifestyle management alone.
